Fedora 36

1 minute read

I’ve been running EndeavourOS on my GNU/Linux laptop for quite a while now. It’s been a good run, and I remain a fan of the rolling-release model for home workstations. EndeavourOS, being an Arch-based system, was something I had chosen the last time I decommissioned a prior Windows laptop - and did not feel like running through the Arch Linux installation guide once again.

Unfortunately, as happens all to often, a recent Grub update caused the laptop to start booting into the BIOS - which, at the time, was not something I had time to deal with. So, after transferring anything of use off the local disk - I’ve decided to try and go with a somewhat more “stable” distribution: Fedora Workstation 36!

Looking forward to seeing how this goes.
