West Lake Cultural Park | Changsha

West Lake Cultural Park is a small out-of-the-way lake in Changsha city. The lake was previously a collection of small fish farming ponds, and was redeveloped into the lake you can see today.

It’s quite large, and would take about an hour to walk a complete circumference of the lake.

During the Dragon Boat Festival, races will be held inside this lake. While we were there, we saw a dragon boat team out on the lake practicing.
