Xi'an | Day 3

1 minute read

Started the day with a quick breakfast at the hotel buffet, then headed out to explore Xi’an. We decided to make our way toward the Bell and Drum Towers again, taking a leisurely walk through the city streets to enjoy the atmosphere.

For lunch, we stopped at a small restaurant nearby Beiyuanmen Food Street. We ordered a bowl of congee, a warm and comforting rice porridge, paired with a side of fried dumplings. The dumplings were crispy on the outside and filled with minced beef.

After lunch, we took our time strolling through the lively market, sampling a few local snacks along the way. Vendors lined the street, offering everything from freshly pressed pomegranate juice to grilled meat skewers, spiced flatbreads, and sweet pastries.

As the weather had turned noticeably chillier, we decided to pick up some warmer clothes from a nearby shop to stay comfortable.

By evening, we made our way back to the hotel, calling it a night to rest up for the next day.
